Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) and Bill Collage (Assassin's Creed) the celebrated director and writer of many great films exposed as frauds. Emancipation is their latest presentation and it brings controversy yet again to the Smith family. The style and topic are not in the wheelhouse of either men and in fact it is out of left field. When Emancipation premiered many fans and movie goers thought of Bill Collage to be a versatile genius who wrote in different genres while others deeply suspected something was amidst, especially screenwriters and fiction writers know very well it is difficult to write out of your genre and do it well enough. Bill manges to do just that and at his age is akin to a miracle some thought.
